Composite Training Facilities & Equipment

Regardless of the process, composite facilities should not be untidy and dirty.  Well kept and maintained facilities support best practice and process control.  We have a proven track record for designing and specifying composite facilities for R&D, repair, production and training purposes.  Our facility designs support the processes used, improve health & safety standards and minimise risk from the activities conducted.

Our own training facilities are designed to minimise risk from a wide range of activities with unskilled personnel. We can support pre-preg laminating courses, to aerospace NADCAP standards, one week and repair courses the following week.

Our training facilities and equipment includes:
  • 2 dedicated training workshops and course reception area
  • Separate storage and preparation rooms
  • 250°C, 2.5 bar g, 1m3 mobile autoclave with manual & PC control
  • Mobile hydro-vane and reciprocating compressors
  • Over 250 training mould tools
  • 12 full sets of hand and air tools for each course delegate
  • 12 dedicated dust/fume extraction benches for each delegate
  • Ring main compressed air, vacuum and electrical services
  • Heating & ventilation system with room extraction and pressurisation
  • Vac Mobile infusion vacuum system (capable of 60’ hulls)
  • Light RTM / RTM resin pump
  • Portable tool sets
  • Portable extraction units
  • Portable vacuum pumps and systems

Our facilities are designed to be flexible; suitable for R&D, production and training.  Equipment and facilities are available to rent, for the purposes of composite training, temporary production and emergency support.
