As a growing company that specialises in training for composite processes, we are always looking for personnel, who are passionate about composites, with the right character and temperament, where we can grow them into a multi skilled and progressive role.
Typical requirements and character traits include:
• patient and methodical characteristics
• willingness to learn and progress
• easy to approach & communicate with
• good communication skills
• an open approach to problem solving
• fluent in English, spoken and written
Typical backgrounds can include:
• a production background, supervisory or lead hand role
• an engineering background, by experience or graduate level
• a high level of practical experience in composite processing
By setting high standards in all the work we do, we demand high standards from our personnel and always invest in their continual development, regardless of experience. Technicians and tutors are trained to work to these high standards and are expected to pass relevant in-house courses to this level as part of their training and occasionally personnel are recruited from our standard courses.
Typical in-house training and development includes:
• specific composite process training & development
• attending standard courses
• preparation of courses and materials
• use and maintenance of processing equipment and facilities
• course tuition
• teaching practices and assessments
• advising customers
• producing bespoke parts and associated patterns and moulds
For technician roles previous experience is required although we do consider mature apprentices.
For tutor roles a minimum of 3-5 years of practical or engineering experience of composite processing is a basic requirement. Experience in a number of processes is also required, such as wet lay-up, infusion, pre-preg, trimming, finishing and repair. Experience in teaching or leading is of benefit but not required for the right candidates.

• either a mature apprentice or a composite technician
• one or two composite tutors
